I would like to be consistent in the naming between ftp.lyx.org and ftp.devel.lyx.org. So either should have pre or either should have devel. Which one do you favour? > - on ftp.devel.lyx.org, we have > /pub/lyx/ (a copy of the normal releases) > /pub/lyx/pre/ (the prereleases and beta). > > Your latest changes to ANNOUNCE do not make sense. While changing the name to reflect the situation in ftp.devel.lyx.org I have replace the wrong entries, my mistake. :-( > Could you again explain what you want? I propose one of two scenarios, either ftp.lyx.org: /pub/lyx/stable/ (all the normal releases) /pub/lyx/devel/ (prereleases and beta) ftp.devel.lyx.org: /pub/lyx/ (a copy of the normal releases) /pub/lyx/devel/ (the prereleases and beta). or ftp.lyx.org: /pub/lyx/stable/ (all the normal releases) /pub/lyx/pre/ (prereleases and beta) ftp.devel.lyx.org: /pub/lyx/ (a copy of the normal releases) /pub/lyx/pre/ (the prereleases and beta). > JMarc -- José Abílio
