I couldn't find a bugzilla report on this, just waiting for my account to be created so that I can submit one. I am using beta 2 and it happens quite regularly. The document I am editing is over 140 pages long, so I haven't tracked down exactly how it happens. I do know that if I edit the session file and change the cursor position back to 0,0 then the file will open fine again. The document I am editing was originally produced on version 1.3.x, then 1.4.x, and now 1.5.x. I don't know if the conversions might have made the insets unusual? I'm using beta2 because the table of contents feature is so valuable that I just had to upgrade ;) I don't have the ability to compile from source at the moment, and I couldn't figure out how to get a stack trace from the crash report.
