Hi all. I am a college user of Lyx for physics stuff, and I was wondering if a couple of things could be added to the math panel, or more specifically the menu which allows things like underline, overline, etc. Right now, that menu does not include the ability to place dots over a symbol, like this: . .. ... x x x only with the dots centered. This is apparently a standard notation for derivatives, and it would be nice to be able to include it. Is that possible, or would it prove too diffcult to be worthwhile?
