I really don't understand why you (and Bo) think this is a document
property. Think about this use case: I open the same file on two views,
on one view a note is closed and on the other the same note is open. Do
you really think those documents should be different? No, they are the same.
The multiple view is just a use case to explain why this is _not_ a
document property. If anything, this is a _session_ property.
