But aren't Saudi-Arabia, Kuweit, Katar, and Bahrain very rich Arabic
speaking countries?
Very rich country doesn't mean that all people there are rich ;-)
Besides, of these three, only Saudi-Arabia is significant in terms of
population and the Arabic world is much bigger than this one. Egypt is
very populated (and very poor), so is Sudan, Tchad, Morocco, Syria, Irak...
