Or is this not possible? We can assume that the distributed layouts will be in utf8 and in the required format. Only user layouts have to be filtered. Ans it that prospect it would be nice to have subdirs in the layouts dir as we have for templates and examples (for site user layouts, I mean). I think that automation cannot be complete, unless layout2layout.py knows about it. -- Jean-Pierre
