I have experienced the following bug on version 1.5.0, 1.4.5.1, and older versions of LyX 1.4.* on Mac OS X (PPC).

If a multi-line equation contains many more lines than can be displayed simultaneously in the same window, then clicking in a field in one of the first or last lines in the equation array causes the display to be centred on the centre line of the array, so that the line containing the cursor is not visible.

To reproduce the bug:

(1) Create new document
(2) Create display equation (CMD-Shift-M on Mac)
(3) Create many new lines in the equation array by repeated CMD- return (the number of times you need to do this depends on the size of your window!)
(4) Scroll the document so the bottom line of eqnarray is visible
(5) Click in one of the fields in the bottom equation

The situation is mitigated in 1.5.0, because using the up/down arrow key to move between lines in the equation array environment does at least cause the window to scroll down so the cursor remains visible. In 1.4.* there is no way of being able to see the last line while you edit it!
