hi, i had to start some real work under 1.5.2 and after hour or so of work emerged this list of oddities:
- when deleting first few lines of text inside Box in the way that there remains empty line, the cursor movement outside of Box does not make that empty line vanish. the same at the end of Box. is this behaviour intended ? - the fact that lyx cant correctly scroll either by mouse wheel or by scrollbar is really annoying. seems that the whole issue is caused by the fact, that after opening inset e.g. Box, its opened vertical size is not considered. when the inset gets vertically longer its quite difficult job to get view into certain part of document unless one lose cursor position by using keyboard. in certain docs there are parts of scrollbar axis where one gets ultra sensitive sections to movement while other parts do nearly nothing. seems to part of bug 2426. also 4044 happened to me during the work and even with big window. maybe it has something to do with 2426. - when editing two Boxes placed side by side, which have already some more text inside one gets quite amount of CPU work (no grahics, no maths involved) and editing speed is slow. Selecting block of text has even worse latencies. this behaviour seems to be dependent on how much text is inside of the insets. - selecting of text is troublesome. when using pg-up/down one gets easily out of the box inset (you dont see the next page...) and one undo of the reverse pg-up/down key does not work. is this intended ? since using the arrow keys is very slow there is no way out :( - in cases one overreach the margins of page by some big picture or inset, it gets typesetted on the second page and the first one is empty. is there some wizard tex command to workaround this ? - got crash after calling doc settings dialog because of wrongly (not)generated locales (some facet problem). but this happens only in really weird conditions. pavel
