OK, but if you *have* the menu there should preferably be a visual
clue.
A different color/font scheme would of course also give a good full-
screen
indication (perhaps overkill, but still ;-) Naturally a user could
reset
this, but then he/she is likely to be aware of fullscreen editing.
i don't understand - don't you see you are in fullscreen just by the
appearance
itself? the real problem is when somebody went to fullscreen by menu
entry and
doesn't pay attention to shortcut... no way back :(

Sorry, my misunderstanding. And as I take it from previous discussion
Escape was not a good option. What about a "hot corner" (or upper
border) that brings up a pop-up button to go back?
