Hi, Currently, after a crash of LyX, a backup file will be deleted immediately after a user chooses to load an original file instead of backup. Can this behaviour be changed to leave both original and backup files untouched at least until a user explicitly makes saving?
A user must examine both original and backup file if he is not sure which is correct. But currently, he can never open the original file (once he does, data in backup goes away). Only way to escape from this situation is to use external editor or viewer to examine them at this moment. Koji
