I'm away from my development machine and won't be back for about two weeks (scheduled to return after the 25th). If you can fix it and apply it, or wait for my return. There is nothing really breathtaking in there, and what I've done with the converter needs extra work to detect when we do DVI and when we do PDF. I've disabled in the patch the image preview as the users preferred the conversion feature over the inline viewing. The possibly most important thing is the move to the use of the ButtonPolicy, it took some time to understand the importance of the FL_TRANSIENT for this move. LyX crashed if I worked without the FL_TRANSIENT because the dialog was freed and was then accessed by the interaction with the ButtonPolicy. Baruch
