Now autoconf users will need the relevant gettext packages at autogen time. I settled on version 0.16.1 of gettext, if it is too new for some people we can go back in time a bit. Please run ./autogen.sh before proceeding. It is also a good idea to make sure that you remove src/config.h if you have it (or to start from a fresh tree). JMarc
