It's not directly connected but it does concern management of the
navigation sidebar. Such a feature could either be a single use or an
option to always keep the section that contains the cursor fully
expanded. Just throwing it out there as a suggestion. I agree that
section browser can be a fiddly when it closes behind you and you then
have to manually open it again.
