After a quick discussion with no objections, I'll eventually commit the wiki source files of our web pages to the SVN repository.

This post is primarily a reminder that this will also expose the _source_ (wiki markup) of the web pages, including all revisions of the page.

So don't put stupid stuff in the web pages, treat their content (source and history) as publically available even though it looks like you need to login in order to access it.

For instance, something really stupid to do would be to create a page such as 'http://www.lyx.org/Secrets' and try to protect it with a separate wiki read password. Even though a read password is required, it's still publically accessible through the SVN repository (by looking at the source file containing the wiki markup and history).

regards,
/Christian
