Is there a list of valid formats somewhere? I understand that svg, for
example, would be OK for firefox but not others. I guess png, jpg, gif
are OK.
I tried googling this, but didn't find anything. I seem to recall there
was an attempt a while back to standardize, but you-know-who wouldn't go
along with it. So I think one has to stick with the basics.
