If you are just remapping BackSpace to PageUp and Space to PageDown why
not just move your hand 3 or 4 inches to the right of its usual position
and use the predefined keys in the first place :P

Forget the cursor keys just use the paging keys.

Then the only time you need any other keys is to open any collapsed
footnotes etc.  Which you can speed up with the menu or accelerator keys
to Open-All.

Either that or buy a wheel mouse ;-)
