Hi,
I find it very elegant when all LyX-dialogs will be
hidden, when the main LyX-window is iconized. Some
dialogs do this already, such as:
Tabular Layout
Prefences
Input (for labels)
Reference
Citation
Index
URL
Paragraph Layout
Document Layout
Table of Contents
Question-dialog
Print
However, other dialogs do not (yet?) behave so elegantly.
I suggest to apply a similar iconize-hide-policy to
the following dialogs:
Math Panel
Insert->Import ascii file-> <both window popups>
BibTeX
Figure (ah, will be replaced by Graphics dialog?)
Character style
LaTeX preamble (ah, will merge into preferences?)
Find & Replace
Spell checker
VC History
Choose Template
Save as...
Select document to Open
<and all other Open and Import dialogs>
