I think the output results are left in the tmp directory. Have
a look at something:

  /tmp/lyx_tmp7683aaa/lyx_bufrtmp7683aaa

(are you working on a Linux PC?)

You can copy the files from there.
Not a pretty solution, but works until a bug-fix will be provided.
