Very good point. One solution is to have an hardcoded list of insetlayouts we distribute with the right correspondence. This is certainly not bug-proof, but I am not sure it will affect that many people. We can also add code to LyX 1.6 that reads these borked files: if MyStyle does not exist and the inset is of type Custom, try Custom:MyStyle. JMarc
