actually at the end i also see stray "nnnnnnn" pushed to the console.
also, these "^[fn" that you get don't seem regular to me. Some keys here
are probably flowing to the wrong destination.
maybe the scenarios are dependent on particular wm settings like "focus
follows cursor" and so on? i moved with mouse little bit and monkey
started to write emails in lyx devel list :P
:-), that must be why John was using the separate X server. In addition
to exhaust your printers toner, the MonKeys can spread around the world
like viruses :-) !
It would be great if there were a means for limiting the target of the
key presses to the LyX specific window and nothing else. I tried to
specify that when invoking the script (xvkbd -window), but it doesn't
work. For example, if LyX crashes before the end of a test, the rest of
the keys go into the terminal (or whatever window comes after LyX).
