Why is this a problem? Of course the existing images, which are partly
carefully created pixel by pixel, are different. Then not only images for
LaTeX commands are stored in lib/images/math, but also other images that are
used in math dialogs, so this explains c).
It is indeed correct that many images are currently missing, and I prepared
a new version of the script which creates even more (also for commands
defined by \def). But, the cript generates also a lot of unneeded images,
e.g. for functions like \cos etc.

Unfortunately my internet connection broke, and I don't know yet when it
will work again. I currently only have mobile access, so this will be
delayed for an unknown amount of time. Meanwhile I wish Merry Christmas to
everybody and a Happy New Year!
