I you aim for a bug free release then it will never happen. We need to prioritize the bugs, and if you do not find bugs for some minor new features because you don't document them then this is not nice, but better than a 2.1.0 release in 2015. I asked already for a list of features with missing documentation, but got no reply, so here is the question again: Which features are not yet documented? > - Windows-specific: when you view a PDF a console window pops up and does > not disappear. This a super annoying regression to LyX 2.0 It can't be super annoying. This is known for several months, and there is no bug entry targeted to 2.1.0 (if my search was correct there is no bug entry at all about this problem). > - I need a test release for the win installer. This is fine, I guess it applies not only to the installer, but also the sources itself. > - we need here some more images to advertise our new release! ;-): > http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/NewInLyX21 Would be nice to have but not essential (and could easily be enhanced between the RC and the final release).
