I tried the tar-ball on Mac 10.8.5 and have a problem with it. Benjamin had noticed it with 2.1 too: The Open File dialog is unusable - see the mail below. I'll build LyX 2.0.8.1 on a Mac 10.6 and I hope this build will not have the problem. But I want to inform you already now.
