While maxima works for me octave does not. At least for more complex formulas
like
Trying with "\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{1}{n^{2}}"
maxima ==> "\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{1}{n^{2}}=\frac{\pi^{2}}{6}"
octave ==> "\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{1}{n^{2}}="
