Thank you for the kind words, Bruce! Well, the true test of whether instructions are good is if someone without a lot of knowledge can follow them. I failed that test, but we worked together to make it work in the end so thanks for your perseverance. As for "real involvement", you just found a problem in a LyX version that we're about to release. Not only did you find a problem and report it, but after some work you found the part of our code that triggers the problem. I definitely consider this real involvement! Thanks for the help, Scott
