I've been looking a bit a the spellcheck code and think that it needs some 
serious cleaning up. (it seems really messy to me).

Related to this cleaning up would be rewriting the find and replace stuff.
This is used by both the search and spellcheck dialog. At the moment there is 
some overlapping code that is not adapted to the new insets.
