Windows Texlive and/or Miktex

Hello,

I use Mageia 6 (Texlive) and reading linguistic papers produced with LyX 
in Windows (Miktex) poses a problem.

Is there a chance for Linux users to one day read and PDF view documents 
produced in Windows/Miktex  and vice versa?
