I mean knightmove _before straightmove_, not knightmove _only_. I.e.:

pgfstyle=knightmove,
markmove={g1-e2},
pgfstyle=straightmove,
markmove={d2-d4},
pgfstyle=circle,
markfields={d4,f4}]
I know the order does not matter in this very case, but it does in
others. More complex: this example from the chessboard manual:
\chessboard[pgfstyle=straightmove,
markmoves={a1-a3, c3-e5, g1-f3},
pgfstyle=knightmove,
backmoves={g8-f6, h1-f4},
arrow=to, linewidth=0.2em,
markmove= \mymove]
