Error compiling ja/Tutorial.lyx with TL19

This is the error I get using texlive 2019:

! Class bxjsbook Error: The value of hyperref 'unicode' key is not suitable
(bxjsbook)              for the present engine (must be false).

The relevant latex snippet reads:
        \usepackage[unicode=true,
         bookmarks=false,
         breaklinks=true,pdfborder={0 0 1},backref=false,colorlinks=true]
         {hyperref}

unicode is listed in the options of hyperref, so I don´t make sense of the 
message.
(checked /usr/local/texlive/2019/texmf-dist/doc/latex/hyperref/hyperref.pdf)
