I didn't put much thought into it when writing Installer2, I thought about it just a little. Because I found a comment in the code, which says that there was a bug report about this already and it has apparently been fixed already, so I didn't worry about it. But it's still not fixed. I have found that there is no easy way to run a process as a user from the NSIS installer, only the "hard" way, which means just using a plugin. I have found this plugin: https://nsis.sourceforge.io/ShellExecAsUser_plug-in. i will commit it to Installer2. Riki, is it worth putting it into Installer as well (for stable that is)?
