Thanks for checking, Kornel. I set -DLYX_EXTERNAL_ICONV=ON and I have the following in CMakeCache.txt: LYX_EXTERNAL_ICONV:BOOL=ON But since you don't see the errors, indeed I should not go forward. It might be something specific to my system. Scott
