Thanks, not much revealing unfortunately. If you are willing to spend more time on debugging and provide us with better backtrace, I can give more complex instructions. But I am somewhat sceptic how much it will be helpful, this smells like there is some miscom between xcb and Qt and that would be harder to address on LyX's level...
