Selection of a colour scheme at Tools > Preferences > Look & Feel, on a
windows 10 machine, seems unstable at present. Most selections seem to
require closing and restarting LyX to take effect but not all. Some
produce an immediate effect on clicking Apply. The problem then is that
it's possible to apparently get *opposite* results from those indicated
in the Color scheme box on clicking Apply. A recipe:
1. Set UI style to Default & Color scheme to System Default. Click OK,
close LyX & restart. LyX is in a light mode.
2. Set UI style to Fusion & Col. sch. to Dark Mode. Click Apply. LyX
makes some adjustement but remains in light mode.
3. Change Dark Mode to Light Mode & click Apply. LyX changes immediately
to *dark* mode.
4. Closing & restarting LyX produces light mode.
A "close & restart" message (as occurs when selecting Default in the UI
style box) would alert the user after step 2.
