I can check it. But to erase the homebrew warnings, from the previous
arguments, we need to bring the formula to an independent server (though I need
to confirm if it actually works).
Another thing to be mentioned is that homebrew doesn’t allow to build from the
source the apps that doesn’t belong to its “core”, so we still need a DMG
distribution for homebrew. This is a different point from macports or BSD ports.
One way might be to recommend users to use macports instead of homebrew on our
web page, but I guess the latter is far majority today and users will hesitate
to switch the whole app manager only for one app.
