Should be partially fixed in "Bozen CVS" from Tuesday. Note that I know that
inserting sums/integrals is still "unusual".

Could be. CVS is down now, so I can't check. I won't do anything before

Cursor movement and selection is still a bit shaky.  

If anyone comes up with a simply, easy-to-understand/teach/implement
scheme, chances are good that we will use that. Until then it will be fixed
on a "many complaints - perhaps one fix" base ;-}
