Are you talking about the continued you put if a block of speaker's lines is
split over two pages ?

LyX always keep such a block in one page (unless its length is more than one
page). For example, if the page is 2/3 full, and the next block is 1/2 page
long, then the block will appear at the next page
(according to Garst, this is better than splitting the block over two pages).
Therefore, you almost rarely need to insert 'continued'.
However, it would be quite simple to add a \blockbreak command to the .cls
file which will break the current block, and put automatically 
"<the current speaker> (continued)" at the top of the next page.
