Do I mistunderstand? If there are no problems, then don't pop-up anything. 
What's wrong with that?

The problems with KDE are temporary ones, I believe, because we use xforms 
dilaog goodies not our own. When we move to our own, we just need to specify 
the "show" policy so that the dialog appears on top always. No?
