Due to time constraints i've been unable to devote time to LyX and when I do have some time I concentrate on the InsetGraphics part. If there is interest in continuing the work on the Gnome frontend than I'll work it out to make it compileable, it's current state is lacking in the dialogs part so it's not worth it to get it compiling just to take a look at its current status.
