I always get a bit lost here. Could you please put that into some kind of list like Case 1 (" ^ is no deadkey neither in X nor LyX ") to get '^' in text mode press: ... 'ê' ... '_' ... to get '^' in math mode press: ... 'ê' ... '_' ... superscript ... subscript ... Case 2 (" ^ is deadkey in X ") ... Case <n> ... Would be really nice. I would certainly prefer "plain ^ and _" for the math *script stuff and do not care too much about the others as long as entering them is somehow possible (without using a text editor on the .lyx file...)
