Reading float.sty, I cannot see how it is possible to define wide floats at all, in fact. Is that normal? It does not seem that algorithm provides any choice either. It seem that definition of new floats should state whether starred version exists. JMarc PS: herbert, I noticed that you mention my cv class here http://www.lyx.org/help/layouts/templates.php Could you modify the information to point out it is integrated with lyx now? [at least change the url to version 1.5]
