reLyX translates

   \begin{figure}[h]
   \begin{center}
   \includegraphics[height=0.8172in, width=2.9084in]{Weg3.eps}%
   \caption{Nonisomorphic trees with four vertices}%
   \end{center}
   \end{figure}

to something like

  \begin_float fig
  \layout Standard
  \align center
  \latex latex
  \backslash includegraphics[height=0.8172in, width=2.9084in]{Weg3.eps}
  \latex default

  \layout Caption
  \align center
  Nonisomorphic trees with four vertices

  \layout Standard
  \end_float

The problem is the '\align center' in the caption that gets read in
and displayed properly by LyX but is written to LaTeX as

  \caption{\begin{center} ... \end{center}}

(and of course LaTeX chokes on that)

I seem unable to create such a situation from within LyX proper, but this
seriously hampers co-operation with users of Scientific Workplace, since
that's what they produce...
