I find this too sometimes a bit annoying especially if I want to publicy
discuss a problem on lyx-devel I have to recopy the discussion and open
my mailprogram to send a mail to lyx-devel.
But normally it is not a list it's just the followup of the bug-entry comments
which get sent to the reporter and to anyone in the Cc: list of this bug. The
problem is that (to prevent spam attemts) we allow only subscribers in the Cc:
list. So you could just subscribe and forget about your password, but we would
be able to add you as Cc: to a bugreport if you're interested in receiving
status reports on it automatically ;)
