It doesn't crash _every_ 30 seconds but if it does crash then I only
lose, at most, 30 seconds worth of work.

Oh, and my 30 second autosave interval was set back in the early 0.11
series when LyX did crash every 30 seconds -- actually there were
plenty of ways of crashing LyX before the GUI even appeared or within
the first couple of seconds.
