BUG: Umlauts in qt-lyx

In the qt version, I can type neither Umlauts (�, �, �) nor sharp s (�)

-dbg any gives for "�":

Press key 65535 text "�", ascii "228"
sym empty in getSymbolName()
getSymbolName() -> �
KeySym is �
