Always. natbib support was added to LyX after the last person to
do anything meaningful with reLyX went off and got a life.
If you add them to BasicLyX.pm:187, it _should_ work:

- index printindex tableofcontents
- listofalgorithms listoftables listoffigures);
+my @LatexCommands = map {"\\$_"} qw(ref pageref label bibliography
