This is not about the size of the whole dialog, but about the width/height of the indivual input fields. Those were 30 pix, which made them look uggly and too bulky. It's now 25 pix. But to your preamble problem: I still don't understand why you have such problems with simply stretching up the preamble dialog in the direction you need (longer lines and/or more lines). Your lines may be 40 chars wide, some elses 80, another one has over 50 lines. For me personally, the preamble dialog is even far too large :). Why is resizing this dialog not good enough for you? Within one LyX session, Xforms remembers the size of the dialog so you only need to resize once. Remember: our Xforms dialogs can resize it to bigger size, but not to smaller size! Cheers, Rob.
