Here I certainly see the --with-frontends option. It reads like
Optional Packages:
--with-PACKAGE[=ARG] use PACKAGE [ARG=yes]
--without-PACKAGE do not use PACKAGE (same as --with-PACKAGE=no)
--with-version-suffix=<version> install lyx files as lyx<version>
--with-frontend=THIS Use THIS frontend as main GUI:
Possible values: xforms, qt
Note that a recent change means that you can specify several frontends
at the same time.
If you cannot get it to work, please send your complete configure
output.
