I have splitted it into two scripts: lyxcf builds LyX (with special settings for 1.3 and 1.4), does a rebuilt if an error occurs and asks wether to start lyx after sucessful build, lyxup does a cvs update and asks if it should start lyxcf after that. I'm beginning to get lazy ;-) Jürgen.
