Unfortunately, we still use system a lot, invoking chktex, when converting the lyx document to another format, in the version control code. Nonetheless, we do fork a *lot*: graphics conversions to a format viewable on screen, spell checking, auto saving the buffer, previews. The fact that nobody has complained about the rather clunky interface to the dialog suggests to me that nobody is using it. -- Angus
