I had a spare 10 mins or so, so tried out the ftp links. I can confirm that all are alive and well. However, I was rather surprised to find that the latest version of lyx at ftp://ftp.devel.lyx.org/pub/lyx is lyx-1.3.0.tar.gz. Moreover, there are no .bz2 files there. Why not and why not? -- Angus
